 Breeze is where it all began.

She was my very first Ibizan Hound, from Sarah Murphy at Abbaio Ibizans. She's the reason I fell in love with this incredible breed. She's also the inspiration behind my kennel name, Brisa means "breeze" in Spanish, a perfect nod to both her and the Spanish heritage of the Ibizan Hound.

Breeze is everything I love about the breed: intelligent, confident, athletic, and endlessly entertaining. She's incredibly smart, although she tends to use those brains for mischief more often than good! Life with Breeze is never boring.

In the show ring, Breeze made everything look easy. She finished her championship quickly and even earned multiple Best of Breed wins over specials while still competing from the classes. She loved showing just as much as I loved showing her, always happy to be out and soaking up the attention. She was only 40 points away from earning her Grand Champion Bronze when COVID brought the show world to a halt.
